(VFW) offers a vast range of services...they assist families left behind with unpaid bills, they take care of single soldiers' children while the soldier is deployed, they even care for the orphans and widows of killed soldiers. They send everything deployed soldiers need, from dry goods, personal-hygiene items, up-to-date magazines, free phone cards, even life saving kevlar vests.
